The collection of the Research and Replicas Department contains reconstructions of ancient costume, which have been created based on scientific research. The collection contains 150 replicas, including 14 full costumes, based on studies of 8th–13th century archaeological material, and separate items of 12th–17th century costume and jewellery, as well as reconstructions of looms and weaving tools.
